Psalms 131:1-2
What is written? (ESV)
O Lord, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me. But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.

O God, my heart is not proud and my eyes are not lofty. I don’t burden myself with things that are beyond my understanding. I have calmed and quieted my soul, just as a weaned child with its mother.
What is its immediate context?
A short (3 verses) psalm of David sung as the children of Israel went up to the temple.
