What is written? (ESV)

To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

What does it say?

All of this is said to remain steadfastly alert while praying for all the saints, and also for me (Paul), that God might supply me with the words necessary to boldly preach the mystery of the gospel as I should, for which I am an ambassador in chains.

What is its immediate context?

Paul’s metaphor of the Christian’s armor to be used in the spiritual battle that is waged.
